I am a 1997 graduate of Bledsoe County High School. Upon graduating high school I went to college at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. While in college I was a member of the football team that won 2 SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS and a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Before graduation I began my coaching journey with the defensive staff under the direction of John Chavis. Upon graduation I pursued my masters degree at Tennessee Tech University, and was a graduate assistant with their football team. After my time in Cookeville I worked as Defensive Coordinator at White County High School. In October 2004 I was hired by Bledsoe County School System  to teach middle school US History. I was an assistant football and baseball at the high school until 2009. In 2009 I was hired as the head football coach at the high school in Bledsoe County and began teaching Social Studies at the high school. In 2005 I stepped down as the head football coach and began the current position I am in as Athletic Director at BCHS.
