Sam Duggins is in his tenth year of teaching at BCHS and his twenty-first year of teaching overall. He has also served as a church music director for twenty-six years, most recently at Wauhatchie United Methodist Church in Chattanooga,
where he has served for the last eleven years. He is originally from Greeneville, TN, but now resides with his family in Birchwood.
Mr. Duggins is very active as a choral conductor. He has conducted and/or  
coordinated several honor choir and community choir events around the area. Under his leadership, the choirs at Bledsoe have enjoyed unprecedented success, including being rated superior on stage at ETVA in 2016, and being named Sweepstakes Award winners at the 2017 Dollywood Music Showcase Festival and at the 2018 Six Flags Music Showcase Festival.
